Accessing Court Documents Edit page

Early in 2022 I visited the Polk County Clerks Office in Bartow.  I wanted to see exactly what is on the record for our Association.

They told me how to access the County Records.

This can be done on-line by anyone.

Here is the procedure:

1. Open this link to the Polk County Clerks Office

https://www.polkcountyclerk.net/

2. Under Records, click under Public Records Search
3. On this page click County Recorder
4. On this page click on Search Official Records
5. You will get a message that you are leaving their website, you will automatically be directed to a search page
6. Type in “Garden Grove Oaks” into the search field and click search

There are over one hundred documents that you can look at. 

Of particular interest are our “official” recorded association documents. 

Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions, Articles of Incorporation,etc are all listed in the same place. To see all of these together click on the three horizontal lines in the “Type” column…..toggle off the “select all” block and select only “RESTR” and “RESTRS”

Looking through these documents paints a picture of our Association.  You can read through legal actions taken by the Board.
